June 8

  • TEENpup 2009 Legacy TEENpup is a Puppy Linux distribution that is designed to have a more appealing GUI and applications that appeal more to teenage users. This release is still based on Puppy Linux 2.14 , has a default color scheme to match Windows Vista, simpler naming for applications in the menus, and the inclusion of OpenOffice.org.

June 9

  • Fedora 11 The latest stable Fedora release was announced and its packed with tons of changes. Faster boot times, KDE 4.2.2, better fingerprint reader integration, DNSSEC support by default, move to SHA-256 for hashing from SHA-1 andMD5, tons of virtualization changes, etc. Full release notes.

June 10

  • Greenie Linux 5j The newest Greenie release is out. From what I can decipher from the release announcement the major changes are updated base to Ubuntu 9.04, kernel 2.6.28, and OpenOffice.org 3.0.1.

June 11

  • FreeNAS 0.69.2 FreeNAS is a FreeBSD-based distribution that aims to provide a full-featured free NAS server. This release has a new WakeOnLAN patch, upgraded Adaptec SCSI RAID management tool, etc.

June 12

  • Linux-EduCD 1.0 Linux-EduCD is a Mandriva-based Polish-language distribution designed for deployment in Polish educational environments. This release has kernel 2.6.26.8, Firefox 3.0.10, OpenOffice.org 3.0.1, new WIFI card support, and many other application updates
